Eurointerim S.p.A. – on behalf of an international sporting goods company – seeks a Head of Manufacturing in Veneto, Italy. The role leads Production, Planning, Tooling, Quality and Industrial Engineering to drive performance and continuous improvement.

You will operate in a matrix organization, coordinating with R&D, Product Development, Engineering and Supply Chain to industrialize new products and launches while managing a high-mix, diversified production site.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related technical discipline.
• Solid experience in manufacturing and operations leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and Production Planning.
• Experience in diverse environments with high-mix production and in-house manufacturing.

Eurointerim S.p.A. – on behalf of an international company operating in the sporting goods industry, is looking for an experienced professional to join its manufacturing site in Veneto, Italy as:

HEAD OF MANUFACTURING

The Role: The Head of Manufacturing will lead Production, Production Planning, Tooling, Quality Management and Industrial Engineering, with responsibility for manufacturing performance, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

The role operates within an international matrix organization and works closely with R&D, Product Development, Engineering and Supply Chain, supporting new product industrialization and launches.

The manufacturing environment is highly diversified and complex, with multiple product variants, colours, sizes and configurations. Production is carried out internally at the Italian site and combines industrial and automated processes with manual, semi-manual and craftsmanship-intensive operations. Production runs both during daytime hours and across three shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• lead and develop the manufacturing organization and multidisciplinary production teams;
• manage and improve complex in-house manufacturing processes, including manual and semi-manual activities;
• oversee production planning, capacity, scheduling, workload balancing and production priorities;
• manage a high-mix production environment with significant product variability;
• improve productivity, efficiency, quality, costs and delivery performance;
• support R&D and Engineering in new product industrialization and design for manufacturability;
• drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives;
• monitor operational KPIs and prepare analyses and presentations for local and international management.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related technical discipline;
• solid experience in manufacturing and operations leadership roles;
• strong knowledge of production processes and Production Planning;
• experience gained in companies with internal manufacturing operations rather than production mainly outsourced abroad;
• experience in production environments combining automated processes with manual, operator-based or craftsmanship-oriented activities;
• proven ability to manage complex and highly variable production rather than exclusively standardized mass-production processes;
• good knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Quality and Continuous Improvement;
• strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data analysis and management presentations;
• fluent Italian and Business English, both written and spoken

Experience in plastic injection moulding and/or in the sporting goods, footwear, outdoor or consumer products industries will be considered a strong advantage.
