We are looking for an experienced and hands‑onHead Bartenderto join the Food & Beverage team atDella Calza SPA & Foresteriain Florence. (full time)

The role is strongly operational and requires a professional who will be actively involved in the daily bar service, working behind the bar alongside the team while also taking responsibility for the development of thecocktail menu and signature drinks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily bar operations, working actively behind the bar during service
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, aperitifs and other beverages
• Develop and regularly update the cocktail and beverage menu
• Create and standardise Della Calza’s signature drinks, developing original recipes in line with the identity and positioning of the property
• Define recipes, presentation, garnishes and preparation standards for the cocktail list
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and execution across the entire bar team
• Coordinate and support the bar team during daily service
• Organise mise en place, bar setup, opening and closing procedures
• Manage service flow, particularly during busy periods and private events
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory, ordering and product rotation
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene
• Train bartenders and bar staff on cocktail preparation, service standards and new menu items
• Collaborate with the F&B and Events teams on dedicated beverage proposals for private events and special occasions
• Ensure an attentive, professional and welcoming guest experience

Requirements

• Previous experience as Head Bartender, Senior Bartender or in a similar role
• Strong cocktail preparation and mixology skills
• Experience in cocktail menu development and signature drink creation
• Good knowledge of spirits, wines and beverage service
• Strong operational approach and willingness to work actively behind the bar
• Ability to coordinate and train a bar team
• Creativity combined with attention to costs, consistency and execution
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and during events
• Good knowledge of Italian and English
