Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None
• Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, or problems using sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking reservations.
• Assist Sales & Marketing with general office duties (filing, emails, typing, faxing).
• Welcome guests according to standards; maintain professional appearance.
• Support management in training and motivating employees; act as a role model.
• Follow all company policies; protect assets and maintain confidentiality.
• Build positive relationships and assist team to reach common goals.
