Job summary

PE Backed Group in Italy is seeking a Group FP&A Controller to join its international finance team in Trecate. The role focuses on driving planning, performance analysis and strategic decision support for the group.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, build robust models, run what-if analyses, and deliver senior management reporting. You will partner with Sales, Operations and HR to enable commercial decisions in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of FP&A, Controlling or Corporate Finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and Power BI experience.
• IFRS knowledge and financial consolidation.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

Group FPA Controller Location: Trecate, Italy Salary: €75,000–€85,000 benefits A leading international PE backed group is seeking a Group FP&A Controller to join its finance team. This is a high-impact role supporting senior leadership with financial planning, business performance analysis and strategic decision-making across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the group's budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
• Prepare what-if analyses and financial simulations to support strategic initiatives.
• Deliver insightful variance analysis and identify key business performance drivers.
• Monitor financial KPIs and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
• Produce high-quality management reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Partner closely with functions including Sales, Operations and HR to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, planning systems and BI reporting tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• 10 years' experience within FP&A, Controlling or Corporate Finance.
• Strong background in financial planning, forecasting and business performance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience using BI tools (Power BI preferred).
• Experience with financial planning and reporting systems.
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial consolidation.
• Fluent English.
