MENARINI Group in Florence, Italy is seeking a Finance Controller within Corporate Controlling & Planning to support strategic decision-making with detailed financial insights. The role reports to Group Management Consolidation & Reporting Manager and works in a central, multinational environment.

You will consolidate budgets, forecast cycles, and monthly/yearly closings, perform variance analysis, ensure P&L allocations align with group guidelines, and produce weekly and monthly performance

Formación

• Degree in Economics is mandatory.
• At least 3 years in a similar role within a structured corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of CCH Tagetik is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Management Consolidation: budget, forecasts, year-end closing, monthly closing, and five-year plan.
• Variance & Profitability Analysis: analyze profitability and key variances vs budget/forecast/prior year.
• P&L Management & Compliance: ensure accurate income and cost allocations in the Group Management P&L.
• Reporting & Performance Tracking: produce weekly and monthly performance reports (sales, headcount, P&L).
• Business Decision Support: assist in developing business cases, ad-hoc financial analyses, and leadership presentations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Group top management and cross-functional teams to drive insights.
• Intercompany Operations: support intercompany transactions, including calculations and variance analysis.

As a Group-level function, the team provides a comprehensive and integrated view of the Group’s businesses, processes, performance, and key business dynamics, ensuring broad visibility across the organization and supporting effective Group governance and decision-making.

As a Group-level function, the team provides a comprehensive and integrated view of the Group’s businesses, processes, performance, and key business dynamics, ensuring broad visibility across the organization and supporting effective Group governance and decision-making.
The candidate will join the team in an agile, dynamic, and evolving business environment, playing a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing detailed financial insights.

Main Activities & Responsibilities

• Management Consolidation: budget, forecasts, year-end closing, monthly closing, and five-year plan.
• Variance & Profitability Analysis: Analyze profitability and identify key variances against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
• P&L Management & Compliance: Ensure accurate income and cost allocations in the Group Management P&L, aligning with Group guidelines and standards.
• Reporting & Performance Tracking: Produce weekly and monthly performance reports (sales, headcount, P&L).
• Business Decision Support: Assist in developing business cases, ad-hoc financial analyses, and presentations for leadership meetings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Group top management, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive financial insights.
• Intercompany Operations: Support intercompany transactions activities, including calculations, variance analysis, and agreement definitions.

Job Requirements

Education:

degree in Economics is mandatory.

Experience:

• Previous experience of at least 3 years in a similar role, preferably gained within a structured corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of CCH Tagetik is a plus.

Language Skills:

• Full professional fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken).
