Job summary

Satispay in Lombardy is seeking an Accounting Manager to own daily accounting across group entities, ensuring fiscal rigor and balance sheet integrity as we scale.

You will lead end-to-end closing under Italian and Luxembourg GAAP, support IAS/IFRS transitions, manage tax compliance, and mentor the operational accounting team in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in operational accounting with Italian and/or Luxembourg GAAP.
• Deep knowledge of IAS/IFRS framework and full closing cycles.
• Strong general ledger management and tax compliance experience (VAT, local taxes).
• Proven track record leading and developing an accounting team.
• Ability to translate governance into daily routines under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles under Italian and Luxembourg GAAP.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, Capex accounting, and general ledger accuracy.
• Coordinate statutory audits and support group reporting with IFRS transition.
• Enforce internal controls and drive process automation in SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead, mentor, and organize the operational accounting team.
