Job summary

Canonical Ltd. is seeking a Travel Operations Specialist to ensure smooth travel for colleagues and guests worldwide.

You will shape travel policy, support decisions, respond to emergencies, and manage supplier relationships, all while maintaining high attention to detail and forward planning. Based in a global, home-based role, you’ll collaborate with the Business Services team to plan events, address travel questions, and optimize costs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with colleagues to address travel queries and issues.
• Work with the wider business services team on company and industry event plans.
• Hold travel vendors accountable for providing excellent service.
• Check invoices to ensure accurate charges and timely payments, credits and refunds for travel.
• Monitor trends, spend, emissions and compliance with company policy.
• Track unused tickets, credits and airline points usage.
