Wood Group seeks a Subcontracts Manager in Lombardy to lead the Subcontracts team across major projects. You will shape subcontracting strategy, oversee tendering and contract management, and lead negotiations with bidders to secure favorable awards.

You will work in a hybrid setup with travel to job-site locations as required, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, value-driven EPC subcontracts for energy, chemical, and petrochemical markets.

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years of Subcontracts Selection and Subcontracts Administration experience at site.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence and lead teams.
• Full knowledge of EPC subcontracting contracting methodologies.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Availability to relocate to job-site locations.
• Willingness to work on hybrid model and travel as needed.

Mansioni

• Define the Project Subcontracting plan and strategy.
• Prepare tender documentation and unit price lists tailored to scope.
• Lead technical and commercial bid clarifications and negotiations.
• Manage bidder shortlisting, bids evaluation, and award recommendations.
• Prepare Letters of Award and contract, and ensure expediting of acceptance.
• Support subcontract administration on-site during construction and close-out.
• Lead the subcontracting team across one or more projects.
• Prequalify Construction Contractors and manage bidder relationships.
