Job summary

Zentiva is seeking a Category Manager – Commercial & Market Services to define and deploy global category strategies for communications agencies, media, market research, and sales/promotional services within the generics pharmaceutical business.

You will partner with Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, Sales Excellence, and Finance to drive value creation, cost efficiency, and compliant sourcing across regions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Procurement, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in procurement or category management.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• High financial acumen including budgets, LRP, TCO, and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global, multi-year category strategies for commercial and market services.
• Lead end-to-end category management including spend analysis, demand challenges, and contract negotiations.
• Build and monitor structured SRMs with strategic suppliers and define KPIs.
• Collaborate with Global and Local Marketing, Sales Excellence, Market Access, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
• Support product launches and market entries with compliant sourcing solutions.
• Ensure budget governance, spend visibility, and variance analysis in the annual cycle.
