ABB Robotics is seeking an experienced Global IS License Manager to establish and drive our global License Management capability. This high‑impact role will shape IS governance and grow with the organization.

You’ll lead SAM strategy, lifecycle management, compliance, and vendor relations, partnering with IS, Sourcing, Legal and Finance. The position is global with preferred locations including Italy (Milan), Poland, Spain, Sweden, Czech Republic, and Germany. Last day to apply is November 30.

Competenze

• 7+ years in Software Asset Management (SAM) or ITAM in global/multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing models, licence optimisation, compliance and vendor audits.
• CSAM, ServiceNow CIS-SAM/ITAM or related certifications are an advantage.
• Experience with major software publishers and enterprise licensing models.

Mansioni

• Define and drive the global License Management strategy, governance framework, policies, controls and processes.
• Lead end-to-end software licence lifecycle including entitlements, usage, renewals and optimisation.
• Own licence compliance and audit readiness, including reconciliations, risk identification and remediation.
• Manage licensing relationships with key software vendors and support renewals and terms interpretation with Sourcing, Legal and Vendor Management.
• Own the quality and use of License Management tools and data, including ServiceNow SAM Pro, reporting and process automation.
• Partner with IS, Sourcing, Legal, Finance and business stakeholders to embed licensing practices across the organization.
• Develop licensing strategies aligned with business goals and monitor licensing/regulatory developments.
