Job summary

Sotalent is seeking a technical specialist to own supervision systems, architecting and deploying control applications using AVEVA and Wonderware System Platform. You will ensure seamless integration between hardware and supervisory software with a focus on scalable SCADA solutions.

The role involves on-site commissioning across global projects, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contributing to documentation and continuous improvement of platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 16–36 months of hands-on experience in SCADA or automation development.
• Proficiency with AVEVA or Wonderware System Platform (InTouch and Historian).
• Experience participating in plant startups and commissioning phases.
• Understanding of PLC logic for integration, e.g., Siemens TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement supervision architectures using Application Server and Galaxy objects.
• Develop SCADA interfaces with data structures, graphics, alarms, and reporting.
• Coordinate integration between SCADA, PLCs, SQL databases, and MES.
• Conduct FAT/SAT testing and on-site commissioning at client facilities globally.
