AVL Italia S.p.A. in Torino seeks a Senior Instrumentation & Control Software Engineer to design, test and commission industrial PLC-based control systems for HVAC and energy applications. You will work on architecture, modular software and collaboration with external partners.

The role covers integration of Siemens S7/TIA Portal, HMI/SCADA, and communication protocols, plus field deployment, documentation and training. Travel to customer sites in Italy is expected.

Competenze

• 5+ years of PLC software design experience in industrial/automotive environments.
• Technical diploma or degree in Computer Science, Automation or Electronic Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, process control, thermodynamics, and mechanics.

Mansioni

• Design the core architecture of process control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, drives, networks).
• Develop PLC software and HMI/SCADA interfaces with external partners.
• Perform on-site commissioning and start-up of industrial plants.
• Prepare final documentation and operating instructions for the control system.
