ABB E-Mobility is seeking a Global Product Quality Engineer to own product quality and reliability across the EV charging portfolio. You will support new product introductions and drive field reliability improvements, representing the customer perspective in design decisions.

Work spans R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Service to ensure safe, reliable, and high‑quality charging solutions. The role emphasizes data‑driven improvement and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Quality, Reliability Engineering, Verification & Validation, or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis or test automation and familiarity with Linux environments.

Mansioni

• Own the quality performance and reliability of an assigned EV charging product family throughout its lifecycle.
• Represent the voice of the customer during product development reviews and embed quality requirements in design decisions.
• Drive product verification and validation activities with test strategies covering electrical, mechanical, environmental, safety, and regulatory aspects.
• Develop and implement quality control and testing strategies to support robust manufacturing and at-source QA.
• Lead complex root cause investigations and corrective action programs using 8D, DMAIC, FMEA, and Ishikawa methodologies.
• Collaborate with global R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Quality, Service, and Contract Manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
• Analyze quality and process data using SPC, Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk and other tools to drive improvement.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to improve product quality and KPIs; maintain standards and documentation across lifecycle.
