Job summary

De Nora, an Italian multinational, is seeking a Patent Attorney to join the Global IP Department in Milan. You will identify inventions, draft and prosecute patents worldwide, and provide strategic IP counsel.

The role collaborates with R&D, Sales, Regulatory and Legal teams. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 4+ years IP experience are required; European or Italian Patent Attorney qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• 4+ years of experience on IP matters, with focus on patents.
• Qualified European or Italian Patent Attorney preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and scout inventions and know-how across the organization.
• Prepare, draft, file, prosecute and defend patent applications and patents worldwide.
• Provide strategic IP advice and counseling to the business on IP matters.
• Support licensing of IP rights and draft IP-related agreements.
• Promote IP awareness through training and guidelines.
