World Food Programme seeks a Partnerships Consultant in Rome (11 months) to strengthen CO partnerships, guide strategic plans, and support donor engagement and fundraising efforts. The role requires master’s level background and 5-8 years in development or humanitarian contexts, with strong writing and analytical skills.

The consultant will coordinate with donor accounts, field offices, and HQ, travel as needed, and ensure timely delivery of proposals and guidance for effective partnerships

Competenze

• Master's degree or equivalent in political science, economics, international affairs, public administration, social sciences, development studies, or related field.
• 5-8 years of development, consultancy, research, or humanitarian response experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English (C) and working knowledge of at least one other WFP working language.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic advice to Country Offices for Country Strategic Plans and Partnering & Resourcing Strategies.
• Draft proposals, donor communications, reports, and value propositions for fundraising.
• Conduct donor mapping to identify diversified funding opportunities and tailor engagement plans.
• Prepare briefing materials and pitches for high-value donor engagements and contribute to resource mobilization.
