MSC Technology Italy is seeking a Field Service Engineer with a Mechatronics background to support remote maintenance and lifecycle management of terminal equipment across MSC's global operations. You will coordinate activities with international teams, including Chennai, to optimize performance and develop maintenance plans.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechatronics/Engineering degree, has field service or maintenance planning experience, and communicates effectively in English.

Competenze

• Experience in field service, remote maintenance or technical support for industrial/terminal equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechatronic, electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Experience in maintenance planning, troubleshooting and lifecycle management of equipment.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and RCA.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Coordinate remote maintenance activities to ensure reliability of terminal equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for terminal and depot operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support maintenance activities and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyze failures and perform RCA to improve reliability.
• Support troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechatronic, electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and service reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements and safety procedures.
