Luxottica, a leader in eyewear design and manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Design Leader for its Veneto operations. The role leads the mechanical design team to deliver robust, compliant designs and drive standardization across projects.

You will oversee planning, hours estimation, and collaboration with PMO, ensuring alignment with project milestones and engineering governance. This senior role requires strong CAD, PLM, and GD&T skills.

Competenze

• Proven experience leading mechanical design teams.
• Strong planning and scheduling capabilities for engineering projects.
• Ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate the mechanical design team (up to 10 people).
• Estimate engineering hours and monitor project progress.
• Consult with the PMO regarding project progress and management.
• Promote technical standardization and innovation with COE Technical Leaders.
• Ensure consistency between 3D models, drawings and BOM.
• Support preliminary design reviews and PoC activities.
