Job summary

Pirelli is seeking an experienced HSE/Industrial Hygiene professional to lead health and safety programs across manufacturing sites. You will define guidelines, assess workplace conditions, and supervise material safety processes to minimize risks and comply with standards.

The role requires collaboration with R&D, Purchasing and Manufacturing, supporting audits, reporting IH performance, and traveling as needed to sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Occupational Health and Safety.
• Minimum 8 years HSE experience in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of industrial hygiene topics and related regulations.
• Familiarity with HSE management systems and ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain guidelines to ensure compliance with health, safety and industrial hygiene regulations.
• Supervise the assessment of workplace conditions to prevent exposure to chemical, physical and biological risks.
• Evaluate new materials and processes from an industrial hygiene perspective, defining related precautions.
• Design and oversee Group processes for the safe use and handling of dangerous substances.
• Support R&D, Purchasing and Manufacturing functions in material approval activities.
• Coordinate material composition reporting to customers and suppliers with internal stakeholders.
• Plan and participate in industrial hygiene audits at company and factory level.
• Define and monitor industrial hygiene performance indicators and related reporting.
