Job summary

Pirelli & C. S.p.A. in Italy seeks a seasoned HSE/Industrial Hygiene professional to define and oversee the group’s industrial hygiene program.

You will assess, control and continuously improve chemical, physical and biological risk prevention across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures. Collaborating with R&D, Purchasing and Manufacturing, you will evaluate new materials, design safe handling processes, lead audits, and monitor performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• At least 8 years HSE experience in manufacturing industries.
• Solid knowledge of industrial hygiene topics and related regulations.
• Familiarity with HSE management systems and related procedures (ISO 45001).
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Availability for travel/short trips abroad.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain guidelines to ensure compliance with health, safety and industrial hygiene regulations.
• Supervising the assessment of workplace conditions to prevent exposure to chemical, physical and biological risks.
• Evaluating new materials and processes from an industrial hygiene perspective, defining related precautions.
• Designing and overseeing Group processes for the safe use and handling of dangerous substances.
• Supporting R&D, Purchasing and Manufacturing functions in material approval activities.
• Coordinating material composition reporting to customers and suppliers with internal stakeholders.
• Planning and participating in industrial hygiene audits at company and factory level.
• Defining and monitoring industrial hygiene performance indicators and related reporting.
