Bosch Rexroth in Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to lead advanced hydraulic design, control integration and simulations for OEMs. You will influence product roadmaps and mentor others while collaborating with R&D and the global sales team.

The role requires 7–10+ years in mobile hydraulic systems, strong electro-hydraulic and CAN-bus knowledge, and fluency in English and Italian. Extensive travel is expected.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics or related)
• 7–10+ years of hydraulic systems experience in mobile equipment
• Proficiency in electronics and Fieldbus (CAN-bus)
• Commercial experience in technical sales or a related business context
• Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems
• Fluent in English and Italian (speaking and writing)

Mansioni

• Oversee and validate system design requests to ensure alignment with machine applications and business goals
• Design advanced hydraulic circuits and electro-hydraulic control interfaces with OEM architectures
• Lead circuit and system simulation activities to validate solutions and reduce risks and time-to-market
• Collaborate with R&D for new product development and strategic market insights
• Provide high-level technical support and coordinate urgent field interventions
• Manage full lifecycle of complex custom projects including budget, timeline, and risk
• Build and consolidate technical relationships with decision-makers at major OEMs
• Develop technology packages for dedicated vertical markets in line with global strategies
• Mentor junior team members and lead customer tech days and representation at events
• Support product and factory audits to maintain high quality and regulatory standards
