Chiesi seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Excellence AIR – Bronchiectasis & Non-obstructive Lung Diseases in Novara, Piemonte. You will steer global clinical development strategy, lead physician-scientist teams across geographies, and align R&D with commercial goals to drive regulatory success and market access.

This role requires MD with pulmonology board certification and a proven track record in leading global, matrixed teams within respiratory medicine.

Competenze

• Minimum 8–10 years in pharmaceutical R&D with substantial clinical development leadership roles.

Mansioni

• Define and drive the clinical development strategy for Bronchiectasis, Pulmonary Hypertension and ILD, aligned with R&D and commercial goals.
• Serve as senior clinical representative in global cross-functional governance for asset development and prioritization.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of scientific, regulatory, and competitive landscapes within respiratory medicine.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Clinical Development professionals across multiple geographies.
• Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans for individuals and the team.
• Foster a culture of trust, empowerment, collaboration, and accountability.
• Drive operational excellence through coaching, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
• Provide medical leadership across all phases of clinical trials and oversee regulatory submissions.
