Amazon Italia Transport Srl is seeking an Int'l Geotechnical Manager to lead geotechnical studies for industrial and commercial facilities across Europe. You will review early phase studies, coordinate with international consultancies, and optimize foundation and construction designs while supporting site selection and budgets.

The role involves travel up to 50% across countries, with a base in Italy or Spain, and requires strong leadership in large construction programs and fluency in English.

Competenze

• Fluent in English (C1 level or higher).
• University degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical expertise.
• Proven experience in development and implementation of logistics, industrial or residential projects.
• Extensive construction design and permitting management, ideally in international environments.

Mansioni

• Set up and review initial geotechnical site studies and feasibility reports.
• Set up contractual relationships with international expertise providers.
• Frequent site visits supporting early and construction phases for geotechnical issues.
• Produce recommendation white papers and review reports.
• Maintain repository for all pre-construction work products.
• Support site feasibility reviews and the site selection process from a geotechnical standpoint.
• Collaborate with design teams and external consultancies to optimize foundation and construction design.
• Establish internal geotechnical expertise and contract external consultancy support.
• Participate in design team meetings and workshops.
• Track project updates, budgets and schedules in a reportable format.
