Job summary

JBT Marel Poultry is seeking a Field Service Engineer Automation to install and maintain our machines at customer sites. You will travel globally, perform controls setup, and report progress to customers and colleagues.

The role requires a hands-on problem solver with an engineering background, capable of independent work and managing installation projects, including coordinating local teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or automation engineering, or related vocational equivalent with several years of experience.
• Experience with electrical cabinet (re)build, software installation/configuration, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Good English and EU travel/work documents; willingness to travel internationally ~50–60%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute the controls (electrical cabinets/software/PLC) part of installation jobs.
• Conduct service visits.
• Troubleshoot production issues at customers’ sites.
• Manage local employees in larger installation projects.
• Keep in touch with, and report to the customer about your progress.
• Train the customer and feedback results to your colleagues.
