Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Global Procurement Category Lead for External Manufacturing to drive strategic sourcing and procurement for external manufacturing (CMO) services worldwide. You will shape procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-efficient acquisition of contract manufacturing services supporting GE HealthCare’s global operations.

You will develop and implement sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and monitor supplier performance while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Progressive experience in global procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Proven track record in negotiations, large spend categories, and cost savings.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, ISO 13485, GMP, and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage global procurement strategies for external manufacturing (CMO) services.
• Lead complex negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and SLAs.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Maintain strong partnerships with external manufacturing vendors to drive innovation and improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
• Lead supplier performance management with regular business reviews and KPIs.
