Job summary

Magna Powertrain is seeking a Head of Global Purchasing Governance & Contracts to redefine purchasing agreements and strengthen supplier partnerships worldwide. This on-site role requires leadership across regions and a strong focus on governance, risk, and value creation.

You will partner with Legal, Finance, Sales and Procurement to develop robust contract solutions and monitor performance with KPIs. A global mindset and travel up to 30% are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Solid experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management with global negotiations.
• Fluency in German and English; strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead global purchasing governance and contracts across regions.
• Drive global purchasing contracts strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Develop contract standards and governance frameworks.
• Lead digital transformation of contract management, incl. AI-driven solutions.
• Provide negotiation support to global purchasing teams.
• Establish KPIs for contract compliance and value realization.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sales and Procurement.
