AVL Italia S.p.A. is seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer in Italy to design electrical systems for industrial plants, special systems and testing machinery, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

You will develop technical documentation, size electrical systems, create single-line diagrams and layouts, perform calculations, and prepare cost estimates while collaborating with teams across projects.

Competenze

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma in Electrotechnics.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the design of industrial electrical systems.
Good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum B1 level).
Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of the main regulations and standards related to electrical systems, safety, and applicable Directives (Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery, and ATEX).

Electrical Systems Design Engineer

AVL Italia S.p.A. offers a position in Italy (IT).

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Electrical and Special Systems Designer will be responsible for the electrical design of industrial plants, special systems, and dedicated machinery for engine and vehicle testing systems. The role involves developing technical documentation, sizing electrical systems, and producing engineering deliverables while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Electrical design of industrial plants, special systems, and machinery for testing systems.
Preparation of technical design reports.
Drafting of technical specifications and tender documentation.
Preparation of cost estimates and bills of quantities.
Development of single‑line electrical diagrams.
Creation of plant layouts and installation drawings.
Execution of electrical calculations and system sizing.
Performing lighting calculations.

YOUR PROFILE:
