Safilo España SL in Padova, Italy, is seeking a Customs Specialist to support import/export operations and ensure compliance with customs regulations. The role focuses on tariff classification, customs valuation, origin, and documentation, reporting to the Global Customs Compliance Manager.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in customs, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. English proficiency is required; SAP experience is a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs and import/export operations.
• Experience with tariff classification, customs valuation, origin, and trade agreements.
• Good knowledge of customs procedures and international shipments.

Mansioni

• Support tariff classification activities and maintain correct product classifications.
• Verify customs valuation elements and assist in determining customs value.
• Support origin assessment including preferential and non-preferential origin and trade agreements.
• Manage and review imports/exports documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in applying customs procedures and special regimes per requirements.
• Maintain customs records and monitor entries for discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Tax, and other departments on compliance matters.
