Safilo is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the Italian Accounting team at our Padova headquarters. You will support a wide range of accounting and administrative activities and work closely with the Finance department, reporting to the Accounting Manager for the Italian Legal Entities.

Key responsibilities include financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting external audits.

Competenze

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
At least two years of professional experience in audit firms, consulting firms, or multinational industrial organizations.
Fluent Italian and English; strong analytical and numerical skills.

Mansioni

Accounting management based on Group Guidelines.
Supervision of Monthly/Quarterly/Year End Closing.
Support for Budgeting/Forecasting activities.
Prepare journal entries (JE) for posting into the general ledger, including payroll entries.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
Support in preparing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports.
Prepare monthly and annual accruals and assist in finalizing annual financial statements.
Prepare audit support for internal and external auditors.
