FoodChain ID is seeking a role to manage the International Desk in Italy, coordinating technical oversight for international offices against organic and product certification schemes managed by the Italy team.

You will work with Italian quality teams, support inspector training, and strengthen partnerships while ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements across offices and partners. A hybrid role with the Bologna office is offered.

Competenze

• Experience in certification (organic, food safety) and leading technical or scheme office teams.
• Strong project coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive approach and results orientation.
• Ability to work in international and multicultural contexts.
• Practical knowledge of accreditation processes and technical background.
• Availability to travel, as required.
• Good English and other language would be ideal for an international company.

Mansioni

• Manage the International Desk in Italy, coordinating and providing technical and accreditation oversight to international offices against international organic and product certification schemes.
• Work with quality teams in Italy and in-country to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
• Provide information and organizational support for training of new inspectors, coordinating milestones.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with current partners and explore new opportunities for synergy.
• Ensure offices and partners comply with accreditation requirements and related audits.
• Shadow integrity programme visits by accreditation bodies or standards owners as needed.
