Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced 3PL Operations Manager based in Italy to oversee a network of external warehouses and logistics partners across international markets. You will own SLAs, contracts, and performance reviews while managing budgets and driving cost optimization.

The role requires coordinating cross‑functional teams across logistics, procurement, security, and data center operations to ensure accurate inventory, compliant processes, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in third‑party logistics and warehouse operations.
• Ability to manage external providers, SLAs, contracts, and quarterly reviews.
• Strong understanding of inbound/outbound logistics and inventory controls.
• Experience with budgeting, invoicing, cost optimization, and KPI tracking.
• Knowledge of SOX-related controls and audit readiness is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management across regions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee international 3PL network across EMEA, US, and APAC with standards.
• Own SLAs, rate cards, renewals, and renegotiations; lead reviews with Procurement and Legal.
• Direct daily warehouse ops: receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, returns.
• Track KPIs via WMS/ERP; lead root-cause investigations for inventory issues.
• Coordinate cycle counts, stocktakes, and reconciliations; support audits.
• Align inbound/outbound with Planning and Transport teams; coordinate staging and kitting.
• Maintain data exchange between external providers and ERP/WMS platforms.
• Manage 3PL budgets across storage, handling, and services; validate invoices.
• Drive provider onboarding, go-live, and transitions with traceability.
• Lead and grow the 3PL team; establish workflows and escalation paths.
• Foster risk management, compliance, and continuity in operations.
• Drive continuous improvement across the global logistics network.
