Overview

We are seeking a GIS Specialist who can provide technical support and consultancy on GIS projects, often with transversal skills in project management, data modeling and user training.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of advanced GIS solutions using the ESRI suite;
• Development and management of corporate geodatabases and geoservices;
• Conduct complex spatial analyses and produce concrete insights for multiple stakeholders;
• Integrate spatial data from heterogeneous sources (satellite imagery, sensors, open data);
• Provide technical support, training and documentation to internal and external users;
• Extensive experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise;
• Proficiency in ArcPy, ModelBuilder, REST API and Python scripting for automating GIS workflows;
• Solid understanding of geoprocessing techniques, spatial modeling and geodatabase management;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams;
• Esri technical certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop Professional, Enterprise Administration Professional);
• GISP Certification (Geographic Information Systems Professional).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with QGIS, PostGIS, FME or other open-source tools;
• Experience with interactive dashboards and data storytelling techniques;
• Knowledge of DevOps environments, containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines for GIS solutions;
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure, Oracle, Google) with a focus on geospatial solutions.
