The Mall Simon Luxury Outlets in Italy is seeking a General Services Specialist to support and coordinate maintenance and facility activities across The Mall Firenze. You will operate under supervision, progressing toward autonomy while ensuring efficient mall operations and a high standard of service.

Ideal candidates will have a background in electronic, structural, or infrastructural management, a surveyor/engineer education, and fluency in Italian with good English.

• Experience in electronic, structural, or infrastructural management.
• Diploma/degree in surveying, engineering, or equivalent.
• Fluent Italian and good English, both spoken and written.
• Organized, autonomous and detail-oriented with strong communication.

Mansioni

• Ensure punctual maintenance of the mall facilities and prevent breakdowns.
• Serve as on-site contact for CCTV, network, switchboard, Wi‑Fi.
• Coordinate with suppliers, tenants, and consultants on facilities topics.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance with internal teams.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance for critical equipment.
• Assist Facility Management in ongoing projects and maintenance activities.
• Perform site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure standards.
• Provide administrative support including data entry and documentation (POs, DUVRI, contracts).

Your opportunity

The Mall Simon Luxury Outlets is currently seeking a new General Services Specialist, based at The Mall Firenze. Reporting to the GS Coordinator, you will support and coordinate maintenance and facility activities across the mall property. This role offers the opportunity to operate under supervision while progressively gaining autonomy, contributing to the efficiency and smooth operation of our Mall in Italy. How you will contribute

• Supporting the punctual maintenance and efficiency of The Mall Firenze’s structures, systems, and services, preventing breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Acting as the on-site point of contact for technical systems, including CCTV, network, switchboard, Wi-Fi, and related issues.
• Coordinating and interfacing with suppliers, tenants, technical consultants, and third parties on facility management and general services topics, ensuring effective support and management of urgencies and emergencies.
• Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities, serving as point of contact for external suppliers and internal teams, ensuring efficiency and compliance with timelines and schedules.
• Coordinating extraordinary and emergency maintenance interventions related to critical equipment and building issues, minimizing impact on store operations.
• Supporting the Facility Management team in the execution of ongoing projects and activities (e.g. moves, repairs, maintenance works), ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Organizing and conducting regular site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and required interventions are identified.
• Providing administrative support for facility management activities, including data entry and documentation (e.g. POs, DUVRI, contracts).

Who you are

• A specialist in electronic, structural, or infrastructural management with at least a former working experience in these fields
• You have a High School/Bachelor’s degree as a surveyor (geometra), engineer or similar
• You are a motivated, reliable, organized, and autonomous person, with great attention to detail
• You are a flexible team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• You are a proactive and discreet person, with high ethical standards and integrity
• You are proficient in MS Office suite
• You are fluent in Italian with a good command of English, both spoken and written
• If you belong to legally protected categories (L. 68/99) your application is more than welcomed
