Job summary

McArthurGlen Group is hiring a Facilities Executive at the Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet. You will support the centre’s operations, work with the Facilities Manager, and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for customers, partners, colleagues and contractors.

The role covers maintenance coordination, contract management, safety compliance and sustainability initiatives. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with Hybrid working where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management within a commercial, retail, hospitality or other customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge of building operations, maintenance and contractor management.
• Organised, proactive and solutions-focused, able to manage multiple priorities and build relationships.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards; IOSH qualification or equivalent; ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 are advantageous.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facilities activity across the centre, including planned and reactive maintenance, contractor interventions, access permits and Permit to Work processes.
• Support contracts covering security, cleaning, maintenance, waste management and landscaping to maintain high standards.
• Assist Health & Safety audits, risk assessments, incident follow-up, emergency and crisis planning, and development of management systems.
• Monitor sustainability, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact and optimise costs, while supporting certification renewals.

Job Description

We’re looking for a Facilities Executive to join our team at Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet. This is a varied, hands‑on role at the heart of our centre operations. You’ll work closely with our Facilities Manager to help ensure the centre is safe, compliant, well maintained and running smoothly, creating a high‑quality environment for our customers, brand partners, colleagues and contractors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll coordinate day‑to‑day facilities activity across the centre, including planned and reactive maintenance, contractor interventions, access permits and Permit to Work processes.
• Working alongside our key service partners, you’ll support contracts covering areas such as security, cleaning, maintenance, waste management and landscaping, helping to maintain high standards across the centre.
• You’ll also play an important role in Health & Safety and compliance, supporting audits, risk assessments, incident follow‑up, emergency and crisis planning, and the continued development of our management systems.
• Sustainability will be another key part of the role. You’ll monitor utilities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact and optimise costs, while supporting the renewal of certifications including ISO and BREEAM.

Qualifications

• You have experience in facilities management within a commercial, retail, hospitality or other customer‑facing environment, together with
• You have a good understanding of building operations, maintenance, contractor management and Permit to Work processes.
• You are organised, proactive and solutions‑focused, comfortable managing multiple priorities and building strong relationships with colleagues, contractors and external partners.
• You have a knowledge of relevant Health & Safety and environmental standards is important, along with an IOSH qualification or equivalent local qualification. Experience with ISO 45001 and ideally ISO 14001 would be an advantage.
• You are fluent in Italian and English – written and spoken.
