DXC Technology Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist Consultant to support AI and Generative AI projects in Rome. You will contribute to practical AI solutions using ML, NLP, and automation, collaborating with the Data & AI team to understand client requirements and deliver value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in GenAI projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Deep expertise in core Generative AI technologies (RAG, Prompt Engineering, Observability, AI Guardrails).
• Experience with enterprise GenAI frameworks/platforms (LangChain, LangGraph, LiteLLM, Langfuse).
• Knowledge of AI governance, GDPR, and EU AI Act compliance.
• Strong experience with ML frameworks/libraries (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong AI-powered software development and deployment practices (CI/CD).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI solutions, including ML models, NLP and computer vision.
• Collaborate with senior team members to translate client requirements into AI solutions.
• Support client relationships for requirements gathering and solution validation.
• Assist pre-sales with technical materials and client presentations.
• Stay up-to-date on AI trends and governance, contributing to best practices.
