Job summary

DXC Technology in Rome is seeking a Data Scientist Consultant to support AI and Generative AI projects, shaping practical solutions and improving business processes through ML models, NLP, and intelligent automation within the Data & AI team in Rome.

You'll design AI solutions, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and engage with clients to gather requirements, validate solutions, and support pre-sales activities. The role offers growth and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Gen AI projects.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Deep expertise in Gen AI: RAG, Prompt Engineering, Observability, AI Guardrails.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LiteLLM, Langfuse.
• Experience with AI governance, GDPR, and EU AI Act.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Experience with enterprise software delivery: source control, CI/CD, deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Growing autonomy in managing tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI solutions, including ML models, NLP, and CV.
• Collaborate with seniors to translate client requirements into AI solutions.
• Support client relationships for requirements gathering and validation.
• Assist pre-sales with materials and client presentations.
• Stay updated on AI trends and apply to solution development.
• Maintain best practices within the AI & Data Science team.
• Gain hands-on experience in client environments and grow autonomy.
