DXC Technology based in Bari is seeking a Data Scientist to support AI and Generative AI projects. You will design and implement ML models, NLP, and computer vision applications while collaborating with the team to translate client requirements into practical AI solutions.

The role emphasizes governance, GDPR compliance, and working with enterprise frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph, with a hybrid work model in Bari.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Gen AI projects.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Deep expertise in core GenAI technologies: RAG, Prompt Engineering, Observability, and AI Guardrails.
• Extensive experience with enterprise GenAI platforms: LangChain, LangGraph, LiteLLM, Langfuse.
• Experience addressing AI governance, GDPR, and EU AI Act compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ML frameworks/libraries: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn.
• Proficient in AI-powered software development and code generation tools.
• Experience with enterprise software delivery: source control, CI/CD, deployment frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of AI solutions including ML models, NLP and computer vision.
• Collaborate with senior team to translate client requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Support client relationships for requirements gathering and solution validation.
• Assist pre-sales with technical materials and client presentations.
• Stay up to date on AI trends and apply knowledge to solution development.
• Maintain best practices within the AI & Data Science team.
• Participate in AI solution projects and grow autonomy in client environments.
