DXC Technology in Bari is seeking a Data Scientist to support AI and Generative AI projects, delivering practical AI solutions through ML, NLP and automation within the Data & AI team in Bari.

You will design and implement AI solutions, collaborate with senior team members, gather client requirements, support pre-sales, and stay updated on AI trends while contributing to best practices and growing autonomy in real client environments.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in Gen AI projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions, including design and implementation.
• Deep expertise in core Generative AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, Observability, and AI Guardrails.
• Extensive experience with enterprise-grade GenAI development frameworks and platforms, including LangChain, LangGraph, LiteLLM, and Langfuse.
• Proven experience in addressing AI governance, GDPR, and EU AI Act compliance requirements throughout the AI solution lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in AI-powered software development and code generation tools.
• Extensive experience with enterprise software delivery practices and platforms, including source code management, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and strong ability to work in a collaborative team.
• Growing autonomy in managing assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Ability to organize project activities by identifying priorities and ensuring deadlines are met

Job Description:

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €38.000.

Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
