SDG Group, a global leader in Big Data, BI, Analytics and AI, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. You will design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructures (primarily GCP), automate deployments with IaC, and continually optimize architectures for performance and cost.

You will implement GitOps, develop automation scripts, and build robust CI/CD pipelines. You will work in a hybrid setup across Italy, collaborating with international teams to deliver data-driven solutions and secure,

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent training.
• +2 years of experience in managing GCP infrastructures and Python development.
• Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and CI/CD for pipelines and data platforms.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• GCP Security & Governance: IAM, RBAC, Secret Manager for secure cloud environments.
• Experience with Google Artifact Registry for containerized apps.
• Observability: GCP Monitoring, Logging, and Error Reporting.

Mansioni

• Design and deployment of cloud infrastructures, mainly in GCP with some AWS/Azure.
• Deploy automation using IaC tools to automate resource provisioning.
• Evaluate and optimize cloud architectures for performance and cost.
• Implement GitOps to manage deployments of infrastructures.
• Develop scripts (Python/bash) to automate tasks.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines for efficient, reliable deployments.
• Stay current with cloud best practices and new services.
