GeoSolutions is seeking a DevOps engineer with a Linux systems background to move geospatial applications to the cloud. You will design and manage cloud deployments, automate with Bash/Python, and contribute to core product delivery toward continuous deployment.

The role offers remote work within Italy or internationally and requires strong collaboration in a fast-growing team. You will influence architecture, implement scalable solutions, monitor deployments, and help maintain high-availability

Competenze

• 3+ years experience in a systems admin or operations role.
• DevOps experience with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, VMware).
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar technologies.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Experience with Elastic Stack is a plus.
• Experience with Chef/Puppet/Ansible is a plus.
• Passion for open-source and continuous improvement.

Mansioni

• Create continuous delivery chains using Jenkins and GitLab Pipelines.
• Create analytics dashboards based on Elastic Stack.
• Create monitoring dashboards for key systems.
• Coordinate with development teams to improve delivery processes.
• Manage and monitor CD processes for clients.
• Play the QA Engineer role when needed.
• Monitor SLA levels and improve support procedures.
