Marex, a global financial services group, invites applications for an FX Sales Trader in Milan to build and maintain client relationships, understand needs, and provide tailored FX solutions.

You will monitor FX markets, provide timely insights, execute trades with regulatory compliance, manage trading risks, and collaborate with compliance, operations and research to ensure seamless service. Fluent Italian and strong English are required; +3 years in FX sales or corporate sales.

Competenze

• +3 years of experience in FX Sales or corporate sales (B2B).
• Fluent Italian and good English; other languages are a plus.
• Experience in a commercial bank or FX broker handling SMEs is beneficial.

About the role

An FX Sales Trader plays a crucial role in the financial markets, particularly in the foreign exchange (FX) sector. This role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored FX solutions
• Monitoring and analyzing foreign exchange markets to provide clients with timely and relevant market insights
• Executing FX trades on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identifying and managing risks associated with FX trading activities, adhering to internal and external risk management policies
• Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client base through proactive sales efforts
• Maintaining accurate records of all trading activities and preparing regular reports for clients and management
• Working closely with other departments, such as compliance, operations, and research, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Essential experience & skills

• +3 years of experience as FX Sales/Corporate Sales (B2B)
• Fluent Italian and good English speaker. Other languages are a plus
• Experience of working in a commercial bank or an FX broker dealing with SME’s will be a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to develop sales strategies through your commercial acumen and ambition
• Comfortable with a phone sales approach
• Ability to work in a Team
• Skilled in establishing strong relationship.

Salary range: Euro 30,000 - 40,000
