Reboot Monkey seeks a Freelance Data Center Technician to deliver on‑demand support for global data centers. You will install, troubleshoot, and manage servers, networking gear, and virtualization platforms while coordinating with remote teams. Independent work style and strong problem‑solving are essential.

The role requires experience with Cisco/Juniper devices, Linux and Windows systems, and the ability to travel to sites on short notice. Flexible hours and remote collaboration are offered.

Competenze

• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• Willingness to travel to data center locations on short notice.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Excellent communication with remote teams.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours when required.

Mansioni

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other hardware to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site, diagnosing hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot networking devices (Cisco/Juniper) for secure operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems with updates and security patches.
• Document installations, repairs and performance; provide reports to remote management.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams, vendors and stakeholders on projects.
