Reboot Monkey, a global IT solutions leader, seeks a Freelance Data Center Technician to deliver on-demand support for data centers worldwide. You will install and configure servers, manage networks, and troubleshoot complex issues while working independently with remote teams.

The role requires deep data center expertise, Linux/Windows management skills, and the ability to travel to data center locations on short notice. Remote collaboration and flexible hours are emphasized.

Competenze

• 3+ years of data center operations experience, with freelance or independent projects preferred.
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel to data center locations on short notice and work outside regular hours.

Mansioni

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and networking gear for uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site, diagnose issues, and resolve them quickly.
• Manage networking devices (Cisco/Juniper) and firewall configurations.
• Administer Linux and Windows systems, apply patches and security updates.
• Document installations, repairs, and performance; report to remote management.
• Enforce security protocols and collaborate with vendors and remote teams.
