Jobgether SRL in Italy is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to own core product surfaces end to end, turning ideas into production-ready components with strong design engineering skills.

This remote-first, async role emphasizes craft, accessibility, and collaboration, shaping the design system behind a globally used scheduling platform and improving reusable primitives for engineers to use directly.

Qualifications

• Proven product design and design engineering ownership of complex areas.
• Strong frontend skills in HTML, CSS, TS and React.
• Ability to implement concepts without another engineer.
• Experience designing and maintaining design systems and primitives.
• Familiarity with open-source component ecosystems and headless primitives.
• Solid motion design judgment and accessibility expertise.
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools and async collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own core product surfaces from concept through production.
• Translate problems into high-quality designs and production-ready components.
• Build and test prototypes with AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor, v0).
• Deliver accessible, production-ready frontend components.
• Maintain and improve shared component library and design system.
• Ensure consistency across tokens, states, and motion patterns.
• Document decisions and collaborate asynchronously with leadership.
