Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deliver AI agent-based solutions in production for large-scale customers. You will own end-to-end technical delivery, from architecture to deployment, while collaborating with product, engineering, and customer teams to ensure success across deployments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of software engineering, strong Python/JS/Java, and hands-on experience with LLMs, data pipelines, and customer-facing delivery.

Qualifications

• You have 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You have production system experience and client-facing delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences that operate in production for large enterprises.
• Design agent intelligence, prompts, reasoning, and tool integration.
• Own end-to-end technical components from architecture to deployment.
• Build data pipelines and validate outputs with customer data platforms.
• Maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to deliver deployable MVPs in days.
• Surface platform gaps and share lessons with engineering and product teams.
• Translate customer challenges into agentic solutions with the Deployment Strategist.
