Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a GTE Project Contract Manager in Italy to lead contract management across projects, ensuring timely, compliant execution from award to operation. You will coordinate with legal and project teams to minimize risks, oversee variations, and drive settlements with vendors and partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering or Law, strong English proficiency, and the ability to manage global, remote teams within a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or Law is required.
• Strong analytical skills on contractual clauses and contracting methods.
• Experience with Early Dispute Resolution and claims negotiation.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work with remote teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage project contracts from award to commercial operation date.
• Prepare contract summaries and transfer provisions to vendors/partners.
• Archive contract documentation and key project communications.
• Support contract variations to address cost impacts.
• Draft key contractual correspondence and resolve disputes.
• Maintain claims trackers and monitor financial exposure.
• Coordinate with legal to finalize settlements and negotiate claims.
