Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is seeking a skilled Fitter for its Monfalcone site to fabricate metal parts using standardized processes under quality control. You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and work on-site at Monfalcone, aligning shells and heads, assembling components, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include preparing joints for welding per WPS, operating in the Clean Condition Room, and adhering to safety, quality, risk, and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanics.
• At least 7 years experience in the role of Fitter in heavy steelworks.
• Proficiency with WPS (Welding Process specifications) and mechanical drawings.

• Assemble components using equipment and hand tools.
• Check the conformity of prepared parts against specifications, using measuring instruments.

About the role:

As a Fitter you will fabricate metal product parts and components with standardized production processes subject to quality control.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base annual salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be €31.900 to €42.000.
