Job summary

TXT Group in Italy is seeking a Firmware Engineer to contribute to the design and development of defence electronic systems, with a focus on firmware for FPGA platforms and DSP.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, implement RTL/HDL coding, perform simulations, and validate solutions using MATLAB/Simulink. A STEM degree is required, with hands-on experience in C/C++, DO-254, and FPGA toolchains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Experience with FPGA toolchains and RTL design.
• Knowledge of DO-254 standards and RTL verification.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Tcl scripting.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and analysis.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:

Essential Technical Skills

• Knowledge of DO-254 standards.
• Experience in software development using C/C++.

• Experience in RTL design and verification.

• Experience with pre- and post-synthesis simulations.
• Knowledge of Static Timing Analysis (STA) methodologies.
