TXT e-Tech S.r.l., a member of the TXT Group, seeks a Software Engineer to join its Aerospace & Defence division. The role focuses on embedded avionics software for a sixth-generation fighter aircraft, in a highly technical, international environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with Model-Based Development (MBD), software development pipelines, and automation for lifecycle quality. Bachelor's or Master's degree and strong teamwork skills, with good English, are expected.

Competenze

  • Knowledge of at least one programming language used in avionics: Ada95, C or C++.
  • Familiarity with the MathWorks suite (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics.

Mansioni

  • Define software requirements (HLR/LLR) using a model-based approach with SysML/UML for IMA software infrastructure.
  • Design the model for infrastructure elements and develop models using Model-Based Development (MBD).
  • Contribute to the development and integration of automated pipelines ensuring lifecycle quality.

TXT e-Tech S.r.l., a company within the TXT Group, is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Aerospace & Defence division.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of embedded avionics software for a sixth-generation fighter aircraft, working in a highly technological, innovative and international environment.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in or experience of the Model-Based Development (MBD) approach and in defining software development and integration pipelines, with a particular focus on automation and software lifecycle quality.

Main responsibilities:
  • To contribute to the definition of software requirements (HLR, LLR) using a model-based approach, with SysML/UML, for the elements of the IMA software infrastructure prototype;
  • To contribute to the definition of the design model for the infrastructure elements;
  • To develop models using the Model-Based Development (MBD) approach.
Essential technical requirements
  • Knowledge of at least one of the programming languages used in the avionics sector: Ada95, C and C++;
  • Knowledge of the MathWorks suite (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow).
Optional technical skills
  • Experience in programming real-time embedded applications in the avionics sector;
  • Knowledge of the DO-178C and DO-331 standards;
  • Knowledge of the SysML and UML modelling languages;
  • Knowledge of the IBM Rhapsody and Cameo modelling tools;
  • Knowledge of Ethernet protocols, in particular UDP;
  • Knowledge of Linux;
  • Experience with the DevSecOps approach, CI/CD and the related toolchains.
Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics.

The ideal candidate is a proactive person with a good knowledge of English and with a strong predisposition to work in a team. Moreover, this candidate is precise in following the project specifications and is oriented towards the achieving of aims within the agreed timescales.
