Job summary

TXT e-Tech, part of TXT Group, is seeking System Engineers to join our Aerospace & Aviation division, where you will support the Weapon Integration team in analyzing weapon requirements and in studies on payload integration onto military aircraft.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree in engineering, strong English (B2), and be willing to travel to the UK and Japan, with eligibility for Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
• Willingness to travel to UK and Japan.
• Citizenship of Italy or EU and ability to obtain Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyse weapon requirements from IT, UK and JP clients (e.g. SRD) under the guidance of a senior engineer.
• Support the breakdown of requirements and their traceability to other technical areas.
• Contribute to feasibility and integrability studies (store compatibility assessment, Pugh Matrix).
• Collect data and draft sections of the Technical Configuration Memorandum.
• Attend meetings/video conferences with GCAP partners, and draft minutes and action items.
• Assist with the preparation of documentation, deliverables and presentations for programme forums.

TXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is seeking System Engineers to join one of our clients’ Aerospace & Aviation division, where they will support the WI (Weapon Integration) team in the analysis and management of weapon requirements and in studies on the integration of payloads onto military aircraft.

Main responsibilities

• Analysing weapon requirements from IT, UK and JP clients (e.g. SRD) under the guidance of a senior engineer;
• Supporting the breakdown of requirements and their traceability to other technical areas;
• Contributing to feasibility and integrability studies (store compatibility assessment, Pugh Matrix);
• Collecting data and drafting sections of the Technical Configuration Memorandum;
• Attending meetings/video conferences with GCAP partners, and drafting minutes and action items;
• Assisting with the preparation of documentation, deliverables and presentations for programme forums.

Required technical skills

A good command of English, at least B2 level.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with a dissertation or work placement in the field of requirements engineering, systems integration or defence;
• Basic knowledge of DOORS, SysML/MBSE (Cameo, Capella) or similar tools;
• Basic understanding of aerodynamics (external/internal loads), structures or avionics.

Education

Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

Willingness to travel (UK and Japan).

Due to the nature of the work involved and the security requirements of the role, candidates must be citizens of Italy or an EU Member State and be willing to obtain a Security Clearance (NOS).

• The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 29.000 € and EUR 34.000 € gross per year.
• The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
