Vertiv Group Corporation in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy, is seeking a Firmware and Control Engineer to design, analyze and troubleshoot IC embedded firmware. You’ll read hardware diagrams, define tests, document processes, and support customers as needed. You’ll collaborate across engineering teams to refine product specifications.

The role requires 3+ years in C on DSP RT systems, experience with CAN/I2C/SPI, and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink. Travel and strong English are expected.

Competenze

• Master degree in Software/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in equivalent areas (e.g., UPS, Inverter, Power converter or low voltage electrical distribution).
• Good English knowledge.

Mansioni

• Design, analyze and troubleshoot firmware code for embedded systems.
• Define tests and write documentation to validate firmware design.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with other engineering functions.
• Prepare firmware test specifications and support during product life cycle.
• Produce technical documentation such as drawings and component specifications.
